The PRINCE2 Portfolio Management Practitioner will cover a range of topics, including:

Develop a business case to secure senior management approval for portfolio management
Plan and organise the implementation of portfolio management across the organisation
Select and customise MoP principles, practices, and techniques to align with differing organisational environments.
Evaluate and interpret MoP information, including key documents and role descriptions
Analyse and assess solutions applied to specific scenarios to ensure alignment with portfolio objectives

Examination Information

To gain the full PRINCE2® Portfolio Management Practitioner qualification you must complete one examination.

The assessment consists of a 3-hour, 80 multiple choice question online exam and is open book. The pass mark is 50%.

Complete the full PRINCE2 certification pathway and you could achieve PRINCE2 Master.

Timetable and Study Options

The PRINCE2 Portfolio Management Practitioner can be studied in two different ways: Virtual Classes and Face to Face Classes.

Virtual Classes run over 2 days, live online from 9am – 4.30pm. These classes enable you to engage with our expert trainers and fellow classmates in real-time.

Face to Face Classes run over 2 days from 9am – 4.30pm. These in-person, interactive classes, take place across our wide range of UK Venues.

Entry Requirements

In order to study the PRINCE2® Portfolio Management Practitioner, you must have first completed and passed the PRINCE2 Portfolio Management Foundation. The PRINCE2 Portfolio Management Practitioner is relevant to all those involved in the selection and delivery of business change initiatives. This includes members of Management Boards and Directors of Change, Senior Responsible Owners (SROs), portfolio, programme, project, business change, and benefits managers, as well as business case writers and project appraisers.
