What is PRINCE2 Agile® v2 Foundation?

The Foundation course introduces fundamental project management principles within an agile context, including key PRINCE2 concepts and agile ways of working.

What does the Practitioner course cover?

The Practitioner course covers advanced topics on tailoring PRINCE2 Agile guidance to projects of various industries and scales, and how to apply principles in real-world agile projects.

How are the exams structured?

Foundation exam is closed book with 50 multiple-choice questions in 1 hour (pass mark 55%). Practitioner exam is open book with 50 questions in 2.5 hours (pass mark 60%).

Are there entry requirements?

There are no strict prerequisites for Foundation, but project management experience is recommended. Practitioner requires prior Foundation or any PRINCE2 qualification.

PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation and Practitioner (Version 2)

If you choose to study both PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation and Practitioner qualifications at the same time – you’ll receive an exclusive course discount. Before opting for this route, it is recommended that you already have some project management experience.

You’ll learn the importance of combining the flexibility of the agile environment with the more formal management and strategy framework of PRINCE2.

PRINCE2 Agile Foundation covers the more fundamental principles of project management in an agile environment. The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner qualification focuses on more advanced topics, including adjusting the PRINCE2 Agile guidance to suit various industries and project scales.

Gaining both qualifications will equip you to use agile methods confidently by becoming skilled at adapting project scenarios to changing needs.

Examination Information

To gain the full PRINCE2 Agile v2 Foundation qualification, you must sit a closed book examination.

The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and you will have 1 hour to complete it. The pass mark is 55%.

The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and you will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete it. The pass mark is 60%.

Timetable and Study Options

We offer two different study methods for the PRINCE2 Agile v2 Foundation and Practitioner: our 5-day Face to Face course, or our 5-day Virtual Course.

Our Face to Face Course runs over 5 days, from 9am – 5pm. These are in-person and interactive classes that take place across the UK, at one of our study venues.

Our Virtual Course runs over 5 days, live online, from 9am – 4.30pm. These online courses allow you to interact with fellow classmates and engage with our expert trainers in real time.
