To study AgilePM Foundation course at Oxford College of Management, you do not need any former project management experience.

Oxford College of Management has more than 25 years of training expertise and is recognised as one of the leading global training providers of AgilePM courses.

The AgilePM Foundation level must be completed first, before moving on to AgilePM Practitioner level.

You can choose from a range of study options. Courses can be delivered Face to Face, by attending one of our many UK training venues. Alternatively, you can join via our Virtual Classes where you can interact online with your trainer and fellow students. Or, if you want to study at your own pace and a time to suit you, then you can opt for our Distance Learning courses. Find out more about our different study options.

Studying  Foundation level will teach you the basics of Agile methodology. You will understand the importance of business value at each project step, as well as the importance of incorporating scrum practices, to boost your team’s agility. At the end of the course, you will be able to support the delivery of value-driven Agile projects, ensuring impactful business outcomes.  You can then move on and study AgilePM Practitioner.

Studying the Practitioner qualification will enable you to successfully deliver flexible and agile projects by applying the AgilePM principles. Studying the Practitioner will teach you the steps to advance towards an agile leader, including the importance of fully implementing scrum practices into your agile workflow.  You will also hold a highly sought-after qualification at the end of the course.

AgilePM Virtual Classes are interactive and live on Zoom. They run over a three-day period for Foundation courses and a two- day period for the Practitioner course. Face to Face, in-person interactive classes take place across the UK at a wide range of venues and are again run over three days for Foundation and over two-days for Practitioner. Distance Learning involves working at a pace to suit you and your lifestyle; you have up to 12 months to complete your course.

The AgilePM Foundation exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions. The exam is a closed book exam and lasts for 40 minutes, with a pass mark of 50%.

The AgilePM Practitioner exam consists of an objective response (written answer) question paper. The exam is an open book exam and lasts for two hours, with a pass mark of 50%.

In both cases, the exam is taken online. You do not need to attend a physical exam centre.

Yes, you can choose to study both Foundation and Practitioner at the same time, and you will receive an exclusive discount. It is recommended however, that you have had at least some project management experience before opting for both courses.

The course price includes all your tuition with our highly experienced trainers, unlimited support access over the maximum 12-month study duration of your course, a digital AgilePM® reference book to support your studies, your mock exams, and your final online exam, which can be booked at a time to suit you.

Attended the APM PFQ 2 day face to face course with Oxford College of Management in London in May 2026. Very positive experience from start to finish: They organised a Teams call to help me understand more about the different types of project management courses, and responded very quickly to all follow up emails. The location was very central - right next to a London Bridge underground exit. The course was great - the trainer Terry balanced explanation and discussion really well, shared examples to help information stick, and made everyone feel comfortable to ask questions and add comments. We all went away feeling confident about the exam. The online material is also excellent - written presentations, verbal recordings, podcasts and several test questions - enabling participants to deepen their understanding following the 2 day course using their preferred methods. The exam itself is conducted at home under strict exam conditions which concerned me at first, but the APM information and instructions were brilliant - if you follow them you will be fine, just read them as soon as possible and allow plenty of time to get set-up.

I recently attended the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) course over three days. The course was well-structured, covering a lot of valuable content while remaining engaging throughout. Our tutor was excellent—knowledgeable, approachable, and interactive. They kept the sessions engaging by encouraging discussions, answering questions, and making sure everyone understood the key concepts. Three days felt like the right length—intensive but manageable. There was a lot to learn, but the pacing was effective. The interactive teaching approach and well-structured content made it a valuable and enjoyable learning experience!
