Oxford College of Management is recognised as one of the leading global training providers of CIPD courses and we have more than 25 years of expertise as a training provider.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the chief professional body to award accredited, HR and L&D (Learning and Development) qualifications. So, you will benefit from a qualification which is from a renowned professional institute and is globally recognised.
As this is an entry-level course, there are no formal requirements to study the CIPD Level 3 Foundation course. It is an ideal qualification if you’re new to HR, or Leadership and Development, or if you already hold a junior position in the workplace and you’re looking to deepen your knowledge and training.
The Level 5 Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development, is a good choice if you’re in a junior HR or L&D role, or have managerial experience in other sectors, and want to expand your leadership and managerial skills. You’ll cover topics, such as: organisational performance, professional behaviours, using analytical tools to measure people practice, and more.
Studying for your Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, is a good natural next step if you’re looking to progress from a junior People Management role, or you have existing managerial experience that involves some L&D. During the course, you’ll gain a practical knowledge of organisational performance and culture, as well as studying topics, such as: employment relationship management, talent management and workforce planning.
The CIPD Level 7 qualification is designed for senior HR professionals looking to work at a strategic level within their HR profession.
To study at this level, it is recommended that you have substantial HR experience, a degree, or have already completed the CIPD Foundation/Associate level qualifications.
Although a university degree is not mandatory, the CIPD Level 7 qualification is a postgraduate-level qualification, so you should be prepared to study at this level.
The CIPD Level 3 Foundation course consists of four mandatory study units and you will undertake a written assessment for most of these. You’ll cover topics including: ‘Business, culture and change in context’, and ‘Essentials of people practice’. The fourth unit has a more practical element, where you’ll be required to conduct a job interview and to record it as part of your assessment.
During each unit, you’ll be assigned a support tutor and at the end of each, your work will be assessed as a ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail’. You will have the option to re-submit your work on two occasions, if needed.
The CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development, involves a total of seven written assessments. There are three core units, covering topics such as: ‘Professional behaviours and valuing people’; and three specialist units. You then select a final one optional unit from a choice of seven topics, such as: ‘Diversity and inclusion’, or ‘Wellbeing at work’. An assignment tutor will support you during each unit; at the end of each you will be awarded a ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail’. You will be able to re-submit your work on two occasions per unit, if need be.
The CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, consists of a total of seven written assessments. There are three core units, which consider topics such as: ‘Organisational performance and culture in practice’ and three specialist units, studying topics including: ‘Employment relationship management’. There is also an optional unit, where you choose a topic from seven options. These include subjects, such as:
‘Specialist employment law’, or ‘Advances in digital learning and development’. An assignment tutor will support you during each unit and at the end of each, you will be awarded a ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail’. You will be able to re-submit your work on two occasions per unit, if need be.
For the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma you will need to complete a total of eight written assessments. Four are core module units, three are specialist module units and there is one option unit, from a choice of subjects. Each module is a written assessment and you will be supported through each by one of our expert tutors. Again, each module is individually assessed by one of our tutors and marked as a ‘Pass’ or a ‘Fail’.
You will have up to three years to complete your course; although you can complete it a lot quicker than this if desired. Typically, the length of study time for each CIPD qualification, tends to be as follows:
CIPD Level 3: approximately 6 – 12 months.
CIPD Level 5: approximately 12 – 18 months.
CIPD Level 7: approximately 18 – 24 months.
CIPD Platinum Centre status is only awarded to training providers who can demonstrate consistency in outstanding quality training delivery, excellence in marking, trainee assessment and positive learner outcomes.
These standards comprise the new CIPD Platinum recognition framework, which is designed to provide greater clarity for trainees and employers. Oxford College of Management is a proud recipient of this highest accolade – only enjoyed by a small number of global CIPD training providers.
