The Managing Benefits™ Foundation and Practitioner will cover a range of topics, including:

  • Definitions, scope, and objectives of benefits management
  • Principles for successful benefits management and barriers
  • Explore portfolio-based benefits management and roles and responsibilities
  • Familiarise yourself with the main benefits management documentation
  • Plan and implement strategies for sustaining progress and measuring success
  • Select and tailor principles, practices and techniques to suit organisational environments
  • Apply the Benefits Management Cycle, defining roles and account abilities at each stage
  • Evaluate and assess benefits management information and solutions in real-world scenarios.

To gain the full Managing Benefits Foundation certification you must complete one examination.

The assessment consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, to be answered in time frame of 40 minutes and  is to be taken online. The pass mark is 50%.

To gain the full Managing Benefits Practitioner certification you must complete one examination.

The assessment consists of an open book objective testing, with 80 multiple-choice questions, to be answered in the time frame of 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%.

The Managing Benefits™ Foundation & Practitioner can be studied in two different ways: Virtual Classes and Face to Face Classes.

Virtual Classes run over 5 days, live online from 9am – 4.30pm. These classes enable you to engage with our expert trainers and fellow classmates in real-time.

Face to Face Classes run over 5 days from 9am – 4.30pm. These in-person, interactive classes, take place across our wide range of UK study venues.

In order to study the Managing Benefits™ Practitioner, you must have first successfully completed the Managing Benefits™ Foundation qualification. The Practitioner qualification is suitable for those directly involved in the selection, design and delivery of change initiatives. This includes senior responsible owner, change directors, change support staff, business case writers and project appraisers.
