You can study the PRINCE2 Project Management Foundation course with Oxford College of Management, without any prior experience. But you must complete the Foundation level, before moving on to the PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner course.

Both the PRINCE2 Project Management Foundation and PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner courses, are operated by Oxford College of Management and accredited by PeopleCert – a global leader in the assessment and certification of professional skills.

Both the PRINCE2 Project Management Foundation and Practitioner courses require approximately 30 hours of either learning face to face or via virtual live classes, or by distance learning which allows you to study at a time to suit you. Studying face to face or via our virtual classes, the PRINCE2 Project Management Foundation course takes 3 days to complete. The PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner course takes 2 days.

PRINCE2 Project Management Foundation and Project Management Practitioner can be studied three ways:

Face to Face Classes – are in person classes and interactive, taking place across the UK in our many study venues.

Virtual Classes – are conducted live online, enabling you to engage with our expert trainers and fellow classmates in real time.

Distance Learning – involves access to Oxford College of Management’s leading online learning platform so you can learn independently and at a pace to suit you.

The PRINCE2 Project Management Foundation and Practitioner courses are both assessed as multiple-choice exams. The PRINCE2 Project Management Foundation course is assessed as a 60-minute online exam. The PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner course is a 2.5-hour open book online exam. Both require a 55% pass mark.

The PRINCE2 Project Management course price includes all of your tuition with our highly-experienced trainers, plus the cost of your final exam. In the very unlikely event you’ll need to re-sit your exam, this is also covered in the price.

Attended the APM PFQ 2 day face to face course with Oxford College of Management in London in May 2026. Very positive experience from start to finish: They organised a Teams call to help me understand more about the different types of project management courses, and responded very quickly to all follow up emails. The location was very central - right next to a London Bridge underground exit. The course was great - the trainer Terry balanced explanation and discussion really well, shared examples to help information stick, and made everyone feel comfortable to ask questions and add comments. We all went away feeling confident about the exam. The online material is also excellent - written presentations, verbal recordings, podcasts and several test questions - enabling participants to deepen their understanding following the 2 day course using their preferred methods. The exam itself is conducted at home under strict exam conditions which concerned me at first, but the APM information and instructions were brilliant - if you follow them you will be fine, just read them as soon as possible and allow plenty of time to get set-up.

I recently attended the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) course over three days. The course was well-structured, covering a lot of valuable content while remaining engaging throughout. Our tutor was excellent—knowledgeable, approachable, and interactive. They kept the sessions engaging by encouraging discussions, answering questions, and making sure everyone understood the key concepts. Three days felt like the right length—intensive but manageable. There was a lot to learn, but the pacing was effective. The interactive teaching approach and well-structured content made it a valuable and enjoyable learning experience!
