The course covers both the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner syllabuses, which includes:

  • The concepts of projects and PRINCE2, including the six aspects of project performance to be managed and what makes a project a PRINCE2 project.
  • The principles that underpin the PRINCE2 method, including which aspects can be tailored, who is responsible and how tailoring decisions are documented.
  • The PRINCE2 themes and how they are applied throughout a project, including the purpose of the business case and organisation theme, describing roles and responsibilities as well as understanding key concepts of quality, risk and change control.
  • The processes of the method and how they are carried out throughout the project, including the purpose, objectives and context of PRINCE2 processes.
  • Analysing the application of PRINCE2 principles in context
  • Applying and tailoring relevant aspects of PRINCE2 themes in context, including the application of the business case theme, organisation theme, quality theme, plans theme, risk theme and change theme.
  • Assessing whether the various themes are effective and fit for purpose taking into consideration the context and PRINCE2 principles.
  • Applying and tailoring the relevant aspects of the different PRINCE2 processes in context, including the actions, roles and responsibilities.

To gain the full PRINCE2 Foundation you must complete one examination.

This is assessed as a 60-minute multiple choice exam.

The gain the full PRINCE2 Practitioner you must complete one examination.

This is assessed as a 2.5 hour open book, multiple-choice exam.

Both assessments are to be completed online and require a 60% pass mark.

Complete the full PRINCE2 certification pathway and you could achieve PRINCE2 Master.

The PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner can be studied in three different ways: Distance Learning, Virtual Classes, and Face to Face Classes.

Distance Learning involves independent, self-paced study. You’ll have access to our online learning platform, allowing you to work through the resources in your own time, at your own pace.

Virtual Classes are conducted live online. These classes enable you to engage with our expert trainers and fellow classmates in real-time.

Face to Face Classes are in-person, interactive classes, taking place across our wide range of UK study venues.
