The PRINCE2 Programme Management Foundation will cover the key principles of the MSP framework for programme management:

  • MSP key concepts and definitions, including programmes, the three lenses of MSP, and enterprise agility.
  • The seven key principles of the MSP framework, including how each principle contributes to programme success
  • The seven key themes of the MSP framework, including the purpose and benefit of each theme
  • The seven key processes of the MSP framework, including the objective and context of each process

The PRINCE2 Programme Management Practitioner will provide you with an advanced understanding of the MSP framework:

  • How to apply the MSP principles in context, including how to lead with purpose, how to deal with ambiguity, and and how to realise measurable benefits.
  • How to utilise and tailor the MSP themes in context, including the key documents required to support it within an organisational environment
  • How to apply and tailor relevant MSP processes in context, including approaches for assurance, decision-making, and risk response

To gain the full PRINCE2® Programme Management Foundation qualification you must complete one examination.

The exam consists of a closed 60 question assessment, with a duration of 60 minutes.

To gain the full PRINCE2® Programme Management Practitioner qualification you must complete one examination.

The exam consists of a open book, 70 question assessment, with a duration of 2.5 hours.

Both exams are taken online and have a pass mark of 60%.

Complete the full PRINCE2 certification pathway and you could achieve PRINCE2 Master.

The PRINCE2® Programme Management Foundation & Practitioner can be studied in three different ways: Distance Learning, Virtual Classes, and Face to Face Classes.

Distance Learning involves independent, self-paced study. You’ll have access to our online learning platform, allowing you to work through the resources in your own time, at your own pace.

Virtual Classes run over 5 days, live online from 9am – 4.30pm. These classes enable you to engage with our expert trainers and fellow classmates in real-time.

Face to Face Classes run over 5 days from 9am – 4.30pm. These in-person, interactive classes, take place across our wide range of UK study venues.
