How are the exams structured?

The Foundation exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions over 40 minutes. The Practitioner exam has 8 complex multiple-choice questions, is open book, lasts 3 hours 20 minutes, and both require a 50% pass mark.

Are there any entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements. Basic project management knowledge is beneficial.

Examination Information

To gain the full Project Planning & Control Foundation qualification you must complete one examination.

The examination is a 50 question multiple-choice exam, with a duration of 40 minutes.

To gain the full Project Planning & Control Practitioner qualification you must complete one examination.

The exam consists of 8 complex multiple choice questions, with 10 marks available per question. It is open book, with a duration of 3 hour 20 minutes.

Both exams are taken online and the pass mark is 50%.

The Project Planning and Control™ Foundation & Practitioner can be studied in two different ways: Virtual Classes and Face to Face Classes.

Virtual Classes run over 5 days, live online from 9am – 4.30pm. These classes enable you to engage with our expert trainers and fellow classmates in real-time.

Face to Face Classes run over 5 days from 9am – 4.30pm. These in-person, interactive classes, take place across our wide range of UK study venues.
